Patricia, Paul, and Paula,
I was so sorry I wasn't able to attend Bertie's service since I am living in N.C. now. Bertie was such a giving and special person that she will surely be missed.

Bertie was the most genuinely kind person that exists. I never heard her say a harsh word about anyone. She will always have a special place in my heart!!

Dear Bertie, We had so much fun in the kitchen at St. Anne's, doing many fund raisers together, laughing, singing, and cleaning up the kitchen. I will always cherish those times. I will miss your baking expertise and will never forget how gifted you were, not just in the kitchen, but also spiritually. May God Bless and Keep You.

I knew Bertie for many years at St. Anne's. She was always a cheerful worker and leader; everyone talks about her perfect pie baking. She once noticed a lot of the women doing chores in the kitchen didn't wear aprons so she made aprons for us. We are thankful for all the good memories.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Miss Bertie. She was a favorite at Sterling House and was admired by many of the residents and their families. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
