He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana Aug. 26, 1934.

He completed an advanced business management program at Harvard University. Blaise had an impressive 40-year career in the pharmaceutical industry. His final position was Vice President General Manager of the Ophthalmic Division of Alcon Laboratories. He was immensely proud of his service as a Naval Officer.
Blaise's passions were for a round of golf, a new place to travel, and perfecting family recipes. However, his main passion was for family, where he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, titles he wore with pride. Family meant everything to him. His loss is a tremendous one.

My sincere condolences to Blaise's family, and to my Aunt Janette McGoey. I had the pleasure of meeting Blaise when he married my Aunt. He was a wonderful man and I loved hearing his stories and seeing how happy they both were. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

There are not enough words in the dictionary to honor Blaise´s memory. He was so many things to so many people. He was a wonderful brother that was always there for his siblings. We will miss him so much. We must now share him with those who preceded him. Much love big brother. Hope this journey is the best one yet.

I remember Mr. McGoey as a devoted fan of Blaise, Leo, and Georgia - traveling to Austin to celebrate their events throughout the year. Kelly´s love for her father and pride in being his daughter is so evident. What a great example of fatherly love! I am so sorry for the void he leaves. Much love to you all. - Nancy
