Bobbe O'Hara Obituary
February 12, 1947 - October 10, 2021
Fort Worth, Texas - This is to announce the passing of Bobbe O'Hara at Baylor Scott White Hospital in Fort Worth. Bobbe was retired from Tarrant County IT Dept. as Special Projects Mgr. in 2013. She had worked on many projects including the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office and the Tax Assessors office among others. Bobbe had fought for 14 years against metastatic breast cancer that spread to her lungs, spine and bones. She just started a new chemo therapy drug in the hospital when the cancer took over her system and caused her death at 5 :20 am. CPR was performed and a breathing tube used to try and resuscitate but the damage to the lungs was too great. In life Bobbe was also the Church Secretary and Sunday Bible study coordinator for Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Geneva Illinois survived in marriage by her husband Greg O'Hara, her daughter Sarah and son Russ, Grand-daughters Megan and Emma and Grand-son Noah and older sister Barbara. Bobbe will be cremated as per her will and to destroy the cancer that took her gracious life. A celebration of life ceremony will be announced for early next year.

I am so sorry to hear Bobbe lost the fight to this terrible beast. She was such a nice woman and provided some pretty darn good desserts for our annual Tarrant County Marine Corps birthday celebration. Our hearts and prayers for you, Greg, and your family.

Thanks to all our friends who have sent a card from the Cancer Center, our Chiropractic friends and my dentist, Dr. Snider. The cards are filled with great feeling about her suffering, her love for the workers attending to her therapy and them trying to heal her is really touching. Thank you all... truly a great loss.
