Bryan Embree Obituary

Bryan "Nico" Embree, 33, of Arlington, a loving husband, father, son and brother, transitioned from this life Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Pilgrim Valley Missionary Baptist Church, 4800 S. Riverside Drive, Fort Worth. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Garden. Visitation: noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home; Nico will lie in state 6 to 9 p.m. at the church, with the family receiving guests 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Bryan "Nico" Embree's children at any Wachovia Bank location.
Bryan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Albert Mullen.
Survivors: Wife of 10 years, Bonita Embree; sons, Delario and Dominic; daughter, Brooklyn; mother, Cynthia Miller (Mark); father, Bruce Embree (Penelope); four sisters; one brother; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Miss you today and always! There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and the love we shared. Soulmates from the moment we met. For,15yrs, I've carried an empty heart because my soul misses you. I can truly say you are the man in this world who captured my whole heart and am ever so blessed and happy you did. Nico was the best next door neighbor! I remember moving in to my home and him introducing himself and then at the time his two boys! He was alwausvwill to help me with anything! I needed tires for my car and he told me where to go and they took care of me! I miss this dedicated father and true friend! RIP!

Bonita, what can I say that hasn't already been said. Nico was a most special angel and we were so privledged and blessed to have in our lives. When I lost my better half at the Round-Up and on the way back we happened to stop at the same station as Nico and when he saw me he was at my side and stayed there when we got back. I will do the same for you and the children. Just take it one second at a time. Know you are loved and have a larger than life family by your side. He will be sorely missed by all. Nico was a very special fella to me. He was so friendly, helpful and encouraging. For some reason he felt the need to try and talk me into buying some rims...Lol.

Until I met Nico, I never really knew what the role of a PRO was. And he made a hard role look like cake walk. Then I realized, it was just Nico being Nico.

I thank God for allowing us the time that we had with Nico.... We will see you, again. We just don't know when.

My family and I were completely stunned and saddened by the news of Bryan's tragic accident. Although I have not seen Bryan in 15 years, I have vivid memories of him when we were kids at his grandparents' house (my Aunt Joan and Uncle Al). Wow I am still in shock. We went on the memorial ride that Sunday and I saw you at Buffalo Wild Wings that Tuesday. We hugged and said goodbye and I watched through the window as you rode away. Now you are gone forever but I can still here you say "Black we got to get those Harleys together, I like it when ride cause we look good together". What are the chances of just watching the news something I rarely do, and hearing about Nico. I had just met him a month before in passing at the airport. Such an impressionable person that I jumped up and thought I heard wrong. I pleaded that it was not true because after all Dallas is full of people and it couldn't be. But we all know that friendly spirit that shared a piece of his life story with me. I shed tears like I knew him forever. He told me about the love for his daughter and how he rode his bike at night, so somehow I felt the loss immediately. I pray for strength for his family and friends. He will continue to with you. Wow! I am to shocked. Brian was the first person I met when I purchased my home. In fact he was my next door neighbor for five years. We laughed, cried and took care of each other as neighbors. I cried when I found out that Nico had died. I remember the first time I met him, I had gone down on my motorcycle and Nico was there & helped me pick my bike up, parked it for me and made sure I was alright, he did not even know me at that time, but after that we became friends, and I thought WOW, that was really nice of him to help me & he did not even know me. Nico you will truly be missed. I know you are riding that Harley with God's Angels in heaven.
