Willadean and Family,

I send my condolences as well as those of my parents, Elmer and Wilda Ratliff. Carl baptized me in 1961 in Denver City. He gave me a book at the time that he signed. I have read his message several times through the years. I pray for God's comfort for your as you grieve Carl's passing.

Willadean,
Carl was such a good friend to my mom and dad, Joe and Hazel Chisholm. We have such wonderful memories of the times we shared together. My dad and Carl shared so many things together through the Italian ministry..Carl used to love to have me around when I was young because I always laughed so hard at his jokes..Chuck and I were married 43 years ago by this amazing man. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

As Willadean's cousin I was always in awe of Carl because he was such a good Christian preacher. I felt if Willadean picked him then he was special. They moved to Texas when I was young so I didn't get to share in their lives as much as I wished.

Carl was such a big part of our life at Central. He married us 42 years ago and it took, we're still stuck together. He told us a few years ago he'd quit marrying people because they didn't take any longer.
I always enjoyed his great sense of humor. He will certainly be missed by all of us whose lives he touched and he certainly touched ours.

God Bless you all, Judy and Dennis Doughty
