Fort Worth, Texas - Carolyn Suzanne Necessary passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the age of 74.
A memorial service will be held April 2, 2022 in Davenport, IA.
Carolyn was born on February 17, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Lawrence and Louanna Poston. Her family moved often due to her father's service in the U.S. Navy. She eventually settled and spent many years in the Quad Cities area of Iowa, which she considered home and where several family members remain. Carolyn moved to Texas in the 1985.
She retired from Neiman Marcus. Close contacts will remember her as a loving and caring person that would do anything for anybody. She claimed to be a shy person but never turned down the opportunity to go out dancing and socializing. She was an avid shopper and couldn't pass up a good deal, particularly on shoes, purses or coats.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Richard Necessary, her three children, daughter Chandra McLain of Davenport, Iowa; son Troy McLain (Caroline) of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter Kendal Antes of North Richland Hills, Texas; former son in law Jack Antes, granddaughter Olivia Terronez, granddaughter Kaci Antes, granddaughter Madilyn McLain, grandson Connor Antes, grandson Lucas McLain, and her siblings, brother Terry Poston, sister Pamela Newman, brother Larry Poston (Linda), and brother Michael Poston (Lori).
She is also survived by her great aunt, Margi Goodman (Gerry), her beloved dog, Bear, dear friends Alicia Douglas (Patrick) and Donna Lambert and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
