Hello Phyllis...though you and I are seperated by many miles and much ensuing time, my memories are found of you, Aunt Francis, and Uncle Clyde. Uncle Clyde was always a quite reserved man ready with a smile and a friendly word. Though my time with him was when I was but a "babe" per se, I always smile when I think of him.
We know we shall join him with again, your mother, all of those who are of Christ. God Bless...Joe Paul

My favorite memeory of Uncle Clyde was when he was playing 42 dominoes. He would bid out of control and expect his partner to cover him. It was great fun for all the family.
Uncle Clyde is with Frances in Heavan waiting for the family to arrive.
It would not surprise me one bit if the dominoes were ready for the homecoming.
Uncle clyde rest in peace as we will be with you soon.

My in-laws (Joe and Ima Strain) lived across the street from Clyde and Francis for many years, and cherished their friendship. And I visited in their home from time to time as well. I found both of these people extremely nice, friendly and pleasant to be around. And in the years since Francis left us, I saw Clyde many times. He was a gentleman, so kind, trusting, and nice to all. He will be missed by all those who crossed paths with him. I'm sure my 91 year old mother-in-law would say the same good things about him if she used a computer. Our best to Phyllis and all of his family.
