2 years have passed and I still find it hard to believe you're gone. I haven't been able to erase your number from my phone or delete your last texts. I remember praying with you the last time I saw you, not knowing that would be THE LAST TIME. I keep laughing to myself about some of the crazy things you said over the years, only to look at me and say, "Huh? What I do?!" I miss you, Brother. I'm torn between grief and being JEALOUS of you, because you 'beat me home' and are LITERALLY having 'the time of your life'! You missed all the nonsense of 2020 and beyond, but your legacy lives on. Until we stand before Christ...love you, Bro!

My Brother...I will most definitely miss our conversations on life. You were one of the first dudes to befriend me when I moved to Texas in the Summer of 1984, and remained a friend, brother and confidante from that day until you left us. Your memory will live on thru those of us who love you. Take your rest in The Masters Arms, Vining...I'll see you soon. To 'San, 'Kili, Mo, Shunda, Keemi & Cherry...God Bless and keep you. My prayers are for your peace and comfort during this trying time. Trying for us, but not Curt...he IS present with The Lord! Love you all!

Cassandra, I am so very truly heart broken for you and your family. You have been in my heart and prayers the moment I learned of this. I wished I could hug the hurt away. I will pray Gods love for you will continue to be your guide and comfort. I'm very familiar with a lost of a best friend, confidant, and your biggest supporter in a husband can be.
