Dave Herman Obituary
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Kornbleet Memorial Cemetery Chapel. Rabbi Alberto "Baruch" Zeilicovich and Dr. Javier Smolarz, ritual director, will officiate. Following committal prayers, Dave will be laid to rest in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Minyan services will be held Tuesday at the residence of Ben and Suzie Herman, beginning at 6 p.m.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to a charity of one's choice, in Dave's memory, is suggested.
Dave owned and operated Herman's Men's Shop in downtown Arlington for 50 years before retiring in 2005. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors: His wife, Mary Sankary Herman; children, Steve and Ellen Herman, Ron and Avery Herman, Debbie Herman, Larry Herman and Donna Herman; grandchildren, Tara, Marlee, Joel and Kassadie; and many nieces and nephews.
