Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Destiny Faith Castillo was born May 9, 2008, in Fort Worth to Elizabeth Garcia and Victor Castillo.
The family would like to thank Johnny and Diane Flores and all the nurses at Harris NICU, along with all the people who gave contributions for Destiny.
Survivors: Mother, Elizabeth Garcia; father, Victor Castillo; brother, Angelo Castillo; grandparents, Victor Sr. and Mary Castillo; grandmother, Lisa Martinez and fiance, Osiel Ortiz; aunts, LeeAndra Castillo and Pauline Silva; uncles, Are Jay Silva, Jose Garcia and Angel Ortiz; cousins, Nicholas Silva and Jaythun Vasquez.

Mamita, it was so hard to let you go but I know that you are now our little angel in heaven watching over us. The little time spent with you was the most precious time ever that I will be able to cherrish for ever and a day. I love you mami and miss you everyday more and more, and the one thing that reminds me that you are in a much better place is the Video that I have of you and everyday I watch that video and listen to you and remember you are no longer in pain or suffering. One day we will all be together again until then I will keep you close to my heart and forever in my memories. I love you mami....

To my baby brother: I love you guys so much and know that this was the most difficult thing to do, but at the same time the most mature. You both brought a beautiful baby girl into this world and even though mija's life was short lived we were all blessed to have been able to spend the days we did have with her. I thank you brother and Elizabeth for giving me the chance to spend the time I had with my beautiful neice. I love you guys very much and miss you all more and more. I'm here always and forever...
