Edith Laster Obituary
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel in Paris, Texas, with the Rev. Jerry Stout and the Rev. Glen Latimer officiating. Interment: East Post Oak Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers: Morris Brewer, Tommy Joe Brewer, Bill Weddle, Bobby Weddle, Charlie Weddle, Mark Canterbury and Ricky Canterbury. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Laster.
Memorials: The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, Ill. 60601.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis H. Laster; son, Jollie Laster; parents, Joseph Weddle and Fannie Belle Chmbley Weddle; five sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors: Son, Dennis Ray Laster and wife, Shirley; grandchildren, Monte Ray Laster, Pamela Jean Whitley and husband, Jim, Philip Kyle Laster and wife, Diane, Paulette Cavitt and husband, Barry, Mike Laster and wife, Joanie, and Kenny Laster; and 10 great-grandchildren.
