Arlington, Texas - Gary Kent Armstrong, 69, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
Gary was born April 17, 1952, in Dublin, TX to Kirk and June Armstrong. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in History and later became president of Armstrong & Armstrong Independent Property Adjustors. He was a devoted, loving, and supportive father and grandfather who put his family first. He loved to watch his grandchildren play sports and always supported them.
Gary is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws, Sheli & Coy Bower and Courtney & JayCee Cameron; ex-wife and best friend, Judy Sexauer; mother, June Armstrong; sister and brother-in-law, Terri & John Doskocil; grandchildren, Ian & Aiden Cameron, and Audrey & Peyton Bower; and several nieces and nephews. Gary is preceded in death by his father Kirk Armstrong.
Gary's Celebration of Life will be held on Nov. 12, 2021, at 6:30pm at the Bob Duncan Center, 2800 S Center St., Arlington.
