Watauga, Texas - Gary Don Beaty, aged 73, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, in Denton, TX. Gary was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Born to Travis Beaty and Dorothy Spacek, Gary was raised with strong family values, which he carried throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 48 years, Kathy Beaty, with whom he shared a life full of love and cherished memories. Gary was also preceded by his father; mother; stepfather, Anton Spacek; and stepbrother, Larry Spacek.
Gary is survived by his loving daughters, Kimberlee Winter, and her husband John Winter, and Jodie Jackson, and her husband Rodger Jackson. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to Victoria Schissler, Myranda Haw, Kaden Schissler, Kaity Jackson, Bailey Jackson, Bryson Jackson, Tuff Parkhouse, and Ayva Jackson, who brought immense joy to his life. His siblings, brothers, Dennis Parks and Jim Parker; and sister Debra Riffe, also survive him, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Throughout his life, Gary was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his family and his unwavering support for those he loved. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and strength will continue to inspire those who knew him.
A service will be held to honor Gary's life and legacy at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel on Saturday December 14, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
Gary will be remembered for his gentle but feisty spirit and the love he shared with all who knew him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
