Gary Sutphin Obituary

Gary E. Sutphin, 77, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Acton United Methodist Church. Gary was born Jan. 27, 1938, in Mount Airy, N.C., to Elbert and Kathryn Sutphin. He was a member of Acton United Methodist Church. Gary served in the U.S. Air Force and was an avid golfer. Survivors: Wife, Peggy; sons, Greg and wife, Lisa, and Taeger; grandchildren, Whitney Jwanowski, Brooke Joseph, Colt Sutphin, Cade Sutphin; sisters, Kay Nicholson, Elaina Noonkester; and brother, Rick Sutphin.
