Magic was a very loving and special husband, father, son, brother and grandfather.
Gary was born July 19, 1951, in Matador. He graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena. He spent most of the last 30 years in the automotive business and was associated with MetroPlex Toyota in Duncanville at the time of his death. Gary was a member of the Church of Christ. "Magic" loved nothing more than being with the people he loved, whether that was playing golf, fishing, sitting in a garage with friends or talking to someone on the phone. He lit up any room he went into, and has left behind a legacy of humor, wisdom, love and brotherhood, which we will cherish forever. We are all better for having known him.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Charles Carlton and nurses Sharon, Rebecca, Allison and Cindy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Yeates, in 1996, and his grandparents, Charles and Ouida Gage and Tom and Mamie Yeates

Gary was the funniest man we ever met. His version of Cinderella and Church of the What's Happin' Now brought us to tears.
Our deepest sympathy to Dannie, family and friends.
