Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Dr. Cameron was born Feb. 2, 1930, in Fort Worth. He graduated form Paschal High School, University of Texas at Austin and Baylor Dental School, where he graduated with honors in 1963.
He was a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southwest Orthodontists Association and taught Orthodontics at Baylor Dental College as a visiting professor. He was past president of West Side Rotary, where he received the Paul Harris Fellow Award and was a board member of the Lena Pope Home. He treated the children at Lena Pope Home and treated newborns at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth who were born with cleft pallets. He was a loving husband, father and dedicated orthodontist.
Survivors: Wife of 51 years, Patricia M. Cameron; children, Richard A. Cameron and wife, Kirsten, Catherine A. Cameron, Mark R. Cameron, Byron W. Cameron and Scott R. Cameron; grandchildren, Christine, Alicia, Caroline, Kaitlyn and George William Cameron V.; brother, Joe Cameron and wife, Bobbie; and nephews, Gary and Kevin.

We will be with you Thursday. Our thoughts and prayers have been all along. Glad you had the chance to have DR Lamar Smith involved and another "best" is Larry Grubbs.
I guess I have to be two grandfathers now! Big shoes to fill as they truly loved Paw-Paw. But still have two GREAT Grandmothers!
