Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Church of Christ in Nocona. Burial: Starkey Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the family home.

Glenn Alexander gratefully honored, praised and worshiped God through belief, faith and trust in his son Jesus Christ. He graduated from the flesh into his full spiritual being, at sunrise, Dec. 14, 2002. His last days on earth were spent surrounded by his loving family and friends, worshiping, praising and glorifying our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It was through Christ that he endured a courageous 18-month battle with cancer.
Glenn was born. Oct. 20, 1932, in Beaumont to Carter Quinn and Viola Alexander. Glenn's life was dedicated to sharing the grace of God through Jesus Christ. He expressed his faith through loving service on the boards of Oklahoma Christian University, Christ Prison Fellowship, Christian Homes of Abilene, Christian Services of the Southwest, Dallas Christian High School, Life of America Foundation and Western Christian Foundation. He served as Bible teacher and deacon in various congregations and was a shepherding elder at Turnpike and Nocona Churches of Christ. You could also find him sharing the good news of Jesus with others while he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Glenn achieved the Eagle Scout award at the young age of 14. After graduating form Abilene Christian University in 1955, he was a successful entrepreneur. His business ventures ranged from farming and ranching to banking and real estate development in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston.
Survivors: Wife of 49 years, Kay; children and spouses, David and Teresa Alexander of Plano, Denise and Richard Baggett of North Richland Hills, Lisa and Rick Alderson of Argyle and Glenna and Kirk Massey of Lewisville; grandchildren and great-grandchild, Sarah, Laura, David, John and Mark Alexander, Joseph, Mandy and Colton Baggett, David, James and Katie Baggett, Dustin, Alex, Daniel and Evan Alderson and Nicole and Quinn Massey; and a host of other friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.
