Grant Wallace Peimann ROCKDALE--Grant Wallace Peimann, 20, of Rockdale passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, in Caldwell, Texas. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lexington, Texas, with Fr. Joy Adimakkeel and Fr. Jesse Martinez officiating. Interment follows in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Caldwell. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell. Pallbearers: Ellis Jones, Josh Bashford, Jared Thompson, Jordan Hafley, Kyle Brewer, Andrew Lane, Chase Chappell, and Eladio Perez. MEMORIALS: The family would like memorials made to Lexington Education Achievement Foundation for Grant Peimann Memorial Scholarship, P.O. Box 216, Lexington, TX 78947. Grant was born April 14, 1998 in Sweetwater, Texas. He is the son of Tim Peimann and Kristen Young Bryan. Grant loved football, basketball, and golf. He was a four-year letterman at Lexington High School. He played basketball his freshman year and was attending classes at Schreiner University in Kerrville. He also enjoyed listening to and writing music in his spare time. Grant was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia L. Young. SURVIVORS: Grant is survived by his parents, Tim and Lisa Peimann of Rockwall, Texas, Kristen and Nathan Bryan of Rockdale; brothers, Lincoln Bryan and Conley Bryan; grandparents, Roger and Eileen Peimann of Arlington, John and Marilyn Young of Caldwell, Trish Morton of Rockdale, Ronnie Bryan of Lexington; uncles and aunts, John and Heather Young of Houston, David and Jennifer Jordan of Spring, Marty and Roxanne Bryan of Highland Village, Justin and Holly Bryan of Lexington; numerous cousins; and other relatives and friends. I went to Schreiner University with Grant, I didn't know him that well, but from what little I did know of him, I know that he was a great guy!
