www.lifegift.org/make-a-contributions/ He was born in Fort Worth, Texas August 31, 1962 to Milton and Jimmie Clark. As the youngest of four siblings and the only boy, Greg was outnumbered, to say the least. He attended grade school at Atwood Elementary where he began a life-long ministry of fortifying friendships. Many of these relationships are still in place today. From a young age Greg loved baseball and the mountains. The family spent most of their vacations in Colorado sledding down Chief's Hideout and playing in the river outside their vacation cabin.
His teenage years were spent working as an apprentice at the family business, Clark Louver Company. Greg helped expand the business over the years using his father's wisdom and his uncanny ability to form strong relationships. Those lasting relationships helped solidify the longevity of his success which will be passed to future generations of the Clark Family.
Greg attended high school at Eastern Hills High School and graduated in 1980. He spent the majority of his young adult years building the business, nourishing family relationships, playing softball, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle as he followed after Christ.
On September 22, 2000 Greg married his soulmate, Kathy, upon the top of a mountain in Ouray where they felt at peace. Their life together was full of love and living, especially among the rivers of Colorado and the mountains of Alaska. No matter where their travels took them, the love of family and the loyalty of friendship always came easily to Greg. As a husband, son, brother, father, and Grandpa he was the Shining Star to everyone. His outlook on life was always positive and he continued to remind everyone that "It's all good!" And God's grace was sufficient.
Greg was a man of deep faith. He was a constant Christian example, using his work to share and mentor the love of Christ and his word to others. He never took his faith for granted and always gave glory to God. His generosity was known by all. Always unconditional and without expectation, Greg would be the first person to support the success of his friends, and especially his family.
In his final walk, Greg has given the gift of life. While he is surely in the presence of the Lord, he has gifted others through organ donation and we couldn't be more proud. As he wanted, let us celebrate his life!
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Jimmie Clark; sister, Diane Kuntz; and son, Cody Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Clark of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters, Danielle Sinclair and husband, Shawn of Keller, Texas, Courtney Ross and husband, James of Slaton, Texas and Cherie Pace; sisters, Nancy Starnes and husband, Ed of Benbrook, Texas and Tammy Swinney and husband, Bill of Willow Park, Texas; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and his life time of friendships.
