Hailey Nichole Cartwright, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 6, 2017. Candlelight Vigil: 7 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at Bicentennial Park, Crowley. Bring candles and wear black or blue. Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Life Pointe Church, 120 S Crowley Road, Crowley, 76036. Memorials: Contributions to Hailey's GoFund Me account (https://www.gofundme.com/556rxb-hailey-Cartwright will be used to defray funeral expenses and to support the Crowley High School Color Guard. Hailey was born Dec. 1, 2000, in Fort Worth, Texas, the youngest daughter of Lori Van Velsor Linch and Mark Cartwright. Hailey was a 10th-grade student at Crowley High School, a member of the Mighty Eagle Band and Color Guard. Hailey will be remembered for her sassiness, sense of humor, wisdom, courage and the love she shared with family and friends. Hailey loved music, was always on the go and loved to shop. Hailey lit up our lives and she will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Vanessa Lange, the Crowley paramedic team, and Huguley Hospital's ER for their efforts to revive Hailey. Thanks also to the faculty, staff and students of Crowley High School, Mr. Salazar and the Color Guard members and for their love and support during this difficult time.
