Fort Worth, Texas - Hazel E. (Nan) Reed Stephens, 86, passed away on October 7, 2022.
Celebration of Life: 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12 in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park.
Hazel (Nan) was a Christian, a devoted mom and grandmother, as well as a friend to all that knew her. She was born in Texarkana.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stacy Stephens.
She is survived by her former husband, William H. Stephens; their children: son, Mark Stephens of Weatherford, daughter and son in law, Karen and Randy Osborn of Aledo; the joy of her heart, her eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Angela, Melissa, Bryan, Daniel, Sonya, Trey, Shelley; and 23 great grandchildren.

Still thinking of my dear friend and missing her.
Every visit I make to SMART Institute, which is twice weekly, I think of her as I straighten the seating arrangement so that the chairs don't touch the walls behind them as she did every time she saw them to close to the wall. :)
It's hard to believe it's been a year! Still missing you, Hazel!

Hazel was a very special friend to me and my grandson, Dylan. We spent many hours at the SMART Institute receiving therapy and taking ones we cared for to their appointments. I know everyone there will miss her, and I will also. My prayers go out to her family....I just wanted you to know that I loved her.
