Dad you are the best father any son could ever want to have. I will always remember the things we did together everything you showed me and taught me it will always be with me. The early days as a kid when you would throw the football to me every night for an hour to better my skills the walks we had up the street after dinner you told me it was to help us digest our food it didn't matter why i was with my dad thats all i cared about. Going to meadowbrook and walking around the track the old barber shop on handley sunday was ice cream day the jobs we did together some were hard but it made strong mentaly and physically little did i know that you were getting me ready for life and i thank you for that. I could go on for hours with the stories. Our days together at the aisd those were special to come to work everyday and know you got my back and i got yours that is something that is special to me not only i'm working with my day but my best friend. All the tricks of the trade you showed me will allways be with me.I know you are still with me because i was working the other day on this plumbing job and was wondering what would be my next move on this job then out of nowhere it came to me. Like you said our body is a shell when we die we go back to god and i know your safe no matter what ever anyone else thinks were here to do a job when were done god calls us home.I know that we will meet again on the other side until then dad i'm gonna give everything i got to make you proud of me.

My sincere sympathy to the Elqutob family.
My heart goes out to your family for your great loss.
I knew George for several years. I first met George when he was assigned to the elementary school where I work as a head custodian.
You always knew when George was in the building. His laughter was
unmistakable.
I also had the opportunity to work with him on the communication committee that he had volunteered to serve on as a representative of his department.
Yes, he was a very dedicated employee but more importantly he was a dedicated husband and father.
He spoke often of his family, and you could see his pride swell when you talked to him about his children. His smile would broaden and his eyes would twinkle when he spoke of you. He loved you all dearly.
I will miss his loud, but joyful laugh!
The world is now a different place without him.
My deepest sympathy,
Frances Keehn

George was my friend. As a Soccer and Football coach at Lamar, I always thought of George as a member of our school family. We shared stories about our families and our lives. He shared thoughts of his wife and how he missed her. . He was so proud of his kids and his school "family" at Lamar. We laughed often. I miss my friend George.

I have served as a teacher in the Arlington ISD for 27 years. Before that I worked as a custodian for the district. That is when I met "George", your father. He was respectful, funny, intelligent, and caring. My eyes always lit up when I was lucky enough to see him throughout his long career. You are lucky to have had such a wonderful man as your father. I hope the respect that he earned in his life can in some way help you as you deal with your loss. God bless your family.

I appreciated Elqutob (that is the only name I knew him by for a long time) because he always spoke and had a ready smile. As a secretary in the district, I knew when he showed up that the work would get done and in a timely manner. I enjoyed seeing him at football games with his sons. He will be missed.

I started working with George in March of 1981 in the plumbing department as a helper. We spent many long hot hours working on the sprinkling systems thru out the district. He was a tough but a fair person to work with. We became really good friends as working partners and he was always there for me when ever help was needed. I will always remember he loved the song "Betty Davis Eyes" and his eyes lit up when it came on. I will miss him and his friendship. It was a priviledge to call George a friend.
