H.L. Cain

H.L. Cain, 86, of Cleburne passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, in Cleburne. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Monday in Godley Cemetery. The Rev. John Glover will officiate. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne Funeral Home. He was born July 20, 1926, in Godley to Herman Lee and Birta Logan Cain. He married Patsy Stewart on Nov. 28, 1946, in Cleburne. Mr. Cain served in the United States Merchant Marine. He was a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and a salesman at Forrest Chevrolet for 18 years. He was a member of Field Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: His wife of 66 years, Patsy Cain of Cleburne; three daughters, Linda Cain and Eddie Gaither of Grapevine, Karen Duckett and husband, Gary, of Cleburne and Gaye Hampton and husband, Harold, of Burleson; three granddaughters, Abby Hanish and husband, Joe, Amy Corallo and husband, Joey and April Hampton; three grandsons, Douglas Cain Hampton, Brad Gaither and Doug Gaither; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
