Louise Gartrell

Louise Gartrell, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening February 25, 2026, in Cleburne. She was born February 26, 1938, in Somervell County, Texas to Melvin and Della Moore.

Louise was a member of the Vine Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Glen Rose and was a very devoted member. She loved to sing, but above all, she loved and enjoyed her family dearly.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Della Moore, her husband Winton Gartrell, son Randell Gartrell, grandson Justin Conner, granddaughter April Barajas, and her brother Charles Moore.

She is survived by her daughter Gail Barajas and husband Bobby of Cleburne; daughter Sharla Ibarra and husband John of Walnut Springs; grandchildren Treshal Rochford and husband Larry, Wayson Conner and wife Amber, Tiffany Barajas, Heather Reyes and husband Jay, Krista Orazio and husband Sam, Danny Johnson, and Brian Johnson and wife; (17) great-grandchildren and one (1) great-great-granddaughter; her sister Mary Ann Million; daughter-in-law Susie Gartrell as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2-4pm. on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm. on Sunday, March 15th, 2026, at the Vine Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 1389 Hwy. 144 in Glen Rose with graveside services and burial to follow at Ward Branch Cemetery in Glen Rose.
