Julie Adkisson Obituary
A Viewing will be held at Wiley's Funeral Home in Glen Rose Texas, from 3-5 P.M.; A Celebration of Life service honoring Julie will be held at Rivers Church, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 3 pm.
Born on Christmas Day in 1980 in Houston, Texas, to Jack and Grace Adkisson, Julie recently served as a Teacher's Aid for Glen Rose ISD. She loved spending time outdoors, especially visiting the zoo and the beach. Known for capturing every moment through her phone, Julie was a truly kind, caring, and honest soul. Julie was bubbly and full of life, always filling the room with noise and laughter wherever she went. Her vibrant spirit brought joy to everyone around her and made every moment brighter. Above all, she will be remembered for her deep devotion to her family, living by her motto, "family first, no matter what."
Julie is survived by her parents Jack and Grace Adkisson; her children Sevannah and husband Justin Reyna, and Gavyn Castillo; her grandson Easton Reyna; her sisters Rachel Shackelford and Amanda Adkisson; her brother Paul and wife Shelby Adkisson; nieces and nephews; and her fiancé Mike Wooten. She was preceded in death by grandson, Leeland Reyna.
