Isabella "Bella" Jade Courtney
January 7, 2015 - August 18, 2021
River Oaks, Texas - Isabella "Bella" Jade Courtney, 6, passed away Wednesday August 18, 2021, with her mama and daddy in the room, unable to be by her side but talking to her and telling her how much she was loved.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood.
Bella was born Jan. 7, 2015, in Fort Worth to Steven and April Courtney. Bella was the apple of her daddy's eye and the daughter April had always prayed for! Her siblings loved her from the minute she was born and cherished her every day that she was here on earth! She was a perfect 7 pound 3 ounce angel from the moment she was born. Her daddy said she grunted just like her mama did, as soon as she was born. She was the youngest of the grandkids so her grandparents made sure to give her everything she wanted! She was spoiled and loved by all of her family and if she didn't get what she wanted she would do her precious pouty face that everyone, especially her daddy, just had to give in to! Her aunts and uncles and all of her cousins loved her unconditionally and were always so excited to see her and spend time with her! Anyone she met saw how precious she was and couldn't help but love her! She made friends wherever she went and everyone loved her sweet hugs! The impact she made on everyone's life in the six years she lived will forever be etched in our minds and our hearts! Bella loved carebears and unicorns and the color pink! She was the girliest tomboy anyone would ever meet and her smile lit up a room! She will always be our angel baby, our precious, beautiful girl who had such an amazing soul - always our baby girl!
Bella was preceded in death by her grandmother, Pauline Dagley; grandfather, Steve Courtney, who passed just 12 days before Bella's passing, so he could be there to welcome her with open arms.
She leaves behind her mama, April Courtney; daddy, Steven Courtney who made sure to spoil her every day from the day she was born; siblings who loved her more than they ever imagined - Jesse, Damion, Daniella, Nicholas and Cristopher all of Fort Worth; grandparents, Tommy and Gail Bradshaw and Debbie Courtney all of Fort Worth; many uncles and aunts, Tommy Bradshaw II, Kristi Courtney both of Fort Worth, Ari and Tamara Alfred, Chasnie Kirby all of Waco; cousins, Taylor, Trinity, Aubery, Ariana, AJ, Jace, Chloe, Kyle, Elliott, Arianna, Elias all of Waco; many other cousins and second cousins; babysitters who loved her dearly, Amber Reeves and husband, Dustin and son, Jesse; Jean Arnold whom she called Gigi and husband, Roy, whom she called Mr. Gigi; her favorite people that aren't family by blood, but Bella always loved them the same Azalya Quintero, Heather Canedo and her kids, Bri and Jordan, Leah and Avery; her best friends, Zoe, Shea, Rj, Reagan, Madelyn, Mila and so many more.
We want to thank everyone who was a part of Bella's life from family, friends, teachers, coaches, etc. We especially want to thank ROFD and Cook's and the one special police officer who did all they could for our baby girl!
In honor of Bella, we are asking everyone to wear pink the day of her funeral and her shirts especially made for Bella the day of her visitation.
