Jane Richards Obituary

Jane Richards

July 24, 1933 - January 27, 2024

Fort Worth, Texas - Jane Richards was born in Sabinal, Texas to Hons and Jessie Richards on July 24, 1933. She passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 90. Jane was also known as Mama and Nana to her family.

Jane was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Francie. She was survived by her children, Barbara, Janet and husband Bill, and Bob and wife Wena. Jane had 8 grandchildren and a multitude of great grandchildren.

Jane lived in 35 different places in her lifetime, and she loved getting involved in her community anywhere she went. Jane loved crafting of all kinds, and used her skills to make art for everyone she came across. She loved the Lord and you could always catch her singing, reading the Bible, watching a sermon, or coloring a beautiful Bible verse for someone. Jane was a woman who loved her family, one who persevered through tough times, and one who was as dependable as they come. Rest in peace, sweet Nana.

The family will be holding a graveside service at San Marcos Cemetery on Saturday, February 10 at 4 PM.
