Jake,
We have kept informed about Jessica's battle through your blog. It seems like a million years ago when I gave Jessica a heart felt hug as we returned to visit Lake Arlington B C and found out about her diagnosis. John and I have kept you both in our prayers and in our thoughts throughout these hard years. We have been blessed by your faith and constant love. You both were a blessing to us when we were at Lake Arlington and continued to bless us even when we moved to El Paso. Your journey inspired our sometimes downcast days as we read about God's provisions for you through these difficult times. We will continue to have you and the s in our prayers and thoughts.
May our hearts touch yours with love in His Name.

Dear Jake and family,
I knew Jessa thru Aunt Sandy and as a patient at UTSW. Jessa will never fully realize the influence she had on so many individuals through her trials. Always leaning on her LORD, and always that beautiful smile on her face. I know you miss her dearly and our prayers will be for your strength, comfort, and endurance. Sincerely, Laurie Jones

Jake, I just found out that Jessica lost her battle with that horrible "C" word. I have lost touch with you since we don't have the "testing" connection anymore. You are in my thoughts and prayers. One thing that got me through my loss, is to continue to talk about your spouse, mother, sister. You have three beautiful daughters to live for each day. There will be many days that will be hard the first year, you will learn to cope, just face one day at a time, each day will get a little easier. God bless your family.

Jake, I "knew" Jessica through her mother and her Aunt Sandy in BSF. We have been reading your blog and praying for you since the very beginning. My comfort during a loss last year was that our God is still on the Throne, and He has the big picture. We are just a few of the players in His huge panorama, and may never know the many people that have been affected by our experience or how it changed lives. His plan is perfect and although the pain is almost beyond belief, we can trust Him. We can take to heart, II Cor. 12:9, which says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." You will continue to be in our prayers.

Jacob, I know we don't know each other all too well but my son Carson remembers you and Jessica. You two were his Wednesday night choir teachers at the time you decided to move on. Both of my kids remember Jessica as the lady who checked out their library books as well. I would like you to know that you and Jessica both have had a positive impact on their lives and to hundreds, if not thousands of other children as well. My prayers are with your family.

I was so blessed to be able to call Jessica "my friend." I really got to know Jessica(and family) very well, when I orchestrated the fund-raising dinner for her, shortly after she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. And then I had a wonderful time traveling to Matamoros Mexico with Jessica, (and Beth Stewart) to deliver "the angel tree" during Christmas time (2006), for all the children at Casa Hogar, the children's home that Lake Arlington Baptist Church Supports. I will treasure those memories forever. Jessica will always remain in my heart. And for Jake, Katelyn, Jayden, Bryn and the rest of the family, know that my prayers and my love are with you. Jessica and Roscoe are no longer suffering.. and for that I am at peace.
In His Grip, I Will Always Remain
