jim jr, mindi, wanda, shirley...we are in total shock. we knew that jimmy had been ill, but didn't realize just how ill he was. in fact, eddy had lunch with him just a few weeks ago and thought he was doing well. wish we had known so we could have been there for him and all of you, as well. we don't have to tell you how much we loved this amazing man. in fact, we have an entire wall in our house of "vegas" pictures, and jimmy is in nearly all of them. what a friend he has been to us..loving, caring, generous and fun! our adventures together with jimmy will remain in our memories forever. we loved him and love all of you. ginny and eddy

I was out of the country and only heard the news when I returned. Jimmy Walker was the best boss I have ever had. He was always respectful and kind. I am so sad to hear about his passing. I am even sader I was not here to attend the services. God bless his family! Love Pam Hall

Dear Leora and Jeanette and all of Jimmy's family: My heart goes out to you on the loss of Jimmy. May your hearts be lightened by God's love and grace. Some of my fondest early childhood memories are going to Clay and Leora's house and visit with Jimmy and Jeanette, some seventy some odd years ago. I visited with Jimmy at our high school reunion a few years back, we took pictures and talked and laughed about the old times. Thank God for the precious memories we have been blessed with.
I wish we had words to take away the sorrow and pain of your loss, I pray God will take you in his arms of love and comfort at this time.
Sincerely, Jean Skinner Allen

To my cousins Jim & Mindy: In my eyes, my Uncle Jimmy was bigger than life, even bigger than John Wayne! I'm so going to miss him calling me "Dano". I just wanted both of you to know that even though miles have kept us apart for years, your daddy always had & always will have special place in my heart.

To the Walker Family:
God's Promise
God never promised a life without pain,
Laughter without tears or sun without rain.
But He did promise strength for the day,
Comfort for the tears and the light for the way,
And for all who believe In His Heaven above
He rewards their faith In His everlasting love.
Know that we are sharing in your sorrow and lifting you up in prayer. May you feel God's comfort and grace all around you.
