One of the best men I've ever known. I couldn't have asked for a better father in law. I always enjoyed the talks we've had over the last 25 years. You are loved by all that knew you, and you will be missed. Rest in peace. I love you

I remember Joe Lee in highschool and after he and Mary Ann married. He was a heck of a football player and everyone was just a little bit in awe of him. One of my fondest memories is of him walking into History class with chewing tobacco in his jaw. Coach told him he could keep it, but he couldn't spit in class. Over the course of the hour, Joe Lee turned a peculiar shade of green. But he took it in stride. He was such a good husband to Mary Ann. I know the whole family will greatly miss his presence. He really was a sweet guy with a heart of gold.

Joe was such a wonderful person. I worked with Joe for several years. He would do anything for you! I know that you will miss him dearly but always remember that you had love for one another and wonderful memories to cherish and fill your hearts and that will always be everlasting. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
