Dear Pam,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss John terribly. I will never forget the first time I met John. He was trying to back y'alls new camping trailer into the driveway and having some trouble. As a truck driver I felt like I could offer a small suggestion that would help a bit.

That one small moment led to an over Twenty years as friends and neighbors that I will always cherish. I always enjoyed hanging out with John, swapping tall tails of Motorcycles, Drumming, Music and the exploits of our youth. Over all those years several things stood out, his love for you, Amy and Deann and the grand babies. He was a proud Husband, Father and Grandfather

He loved the Motorcycle rides and camping with you. We spent hours talking about the trips, the kids and the grandkids. I enjoyed it all. John always made me laugh and impressed me with his concern for others, his cooking and his desire that the neighborhood be a safe and welcoming place. I appreciate his time volunteering for CODE BLUE and the neighborhood watch. I appreciate the times he watched out for Scarlett and I, fed our critters while we were away and for being a friend.

John was a humble, caring man with a big heart. I will never forget him. He was my friend.

With love,
Kirby and Scarlett

Dear Pam, I am so sorry for your loss. John was my friend. I will never forget the first time I met him, He was trying to back y'all's new camping trailer into the driveway and was having a little bit of trouble. As a Truck Driver I felt like I could help him a bit. That small moment led to 20+ years of friendship.

Over those years John kept ne laughing with his wonderful sense of humor, entertained me with stories of riding his bike, stories of his youth and sharing stories of his life with you, the girls and his grand-babies.

I will miss John terribly. Y'all have been awesome neighbors which is rare these days. John cared about people less fortunate than him, cared about the quality of life in the neighborhood and cared for his friends. I and many others appreciate his commitment to CODEBLUE and the hours he spent volunteering to keep our neighborhood safer and more secure.

John was a very humble guy who loved his family and friends and would do anything for them, that is hard to find these days. I will never forget him.

With love,
Kirby
