the shaw family is mourning the passing of John so badly....sterling and dakota have very fond memories of him at the beach house with us and I know he was one of the very top favorites of all my kids friends....he was a beautiful child turned man and I can't shake feeling so bad his life ended so suddenly....I know you all are hurting so much but know many of us willing be praying for you for many days ahead ....my faith is in god giving you the peace that surpasses all understanding for the many hard days ahead

Words cannot capture how difficult this is or express the sadness. We are so thankful that you are a strong, loving, family and have each other. John was a wonderful person and we are remembering him fondly. We often remarked after seeing John that he was one of the most pleasant young men we have ever been around. He was so very polite, respectful and so much fun to be with. We will always treasure the moments we spent in his company. We are praying and sending our love.
