Joseph Paul Monk "Joe Paul" FORT WORTH -- Joseph Paul Monk "Joe Paul", age 69, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Fort Worth. FUNERAL: 1 p.m., Saturday, December 15, Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home, 200 E. Patton Ave, Alvarado, Texas 76009, with Pastor Steve Vanzant officiating. Visitation: for family will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and visitation for friends will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, prior to the start of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to support the Christmas and Santa Land projects at Fort Worth Christian Center at www.ccofw.org. Born July 24, 1949, in Royse City. He was a father, brother and friend to many. Jovial and having never met an enemy, he lived his life serving others and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Full of spirit and a zest for people, he was a grounded oak tree in which many have leaned. He is preceded in death by his father, Arvid Newton Monk; mother, Fernande Monk; and brother, Christopher Monk. SURVIVORS: Joe Paul is survived by his daughter, Annette Langford and her husband, Charles Langford; son, Jonathan Paul Monk and his wife, Jennifer Monk; brother, Michael Monk and his wife, Teresa Monk; four grandchildren, Jordan Langford, Hannah Langford, Madilyn Monk and Jensen Paul Monk; niece, Sondra Kay Stewart; nephews, David Bailey and Brandon Monk; and great-niece, Michaela Larson.
