One year ago today, my best pal - my Grammie - Joyce Louise Chaplin, entered Glory.

She met her Savior face to face.

Know how Jesus became her savior?

When Grammie was a girl of 12, her precious pup Ringtail fell from the high second story landing to the hard wood below.

Ringtale lay dead. My grandmother fell to her knees devastated and begged God to restore Ringtale.

After many minutes, Ringtale jumped up, shook it off, and was no worse from the fall.

My Grammie knew then and there God was real. He was who He said He was. All powerful. Able. Caring. Compassionate.

She took herself down to the local church and spoke with the pastor at length. She asked to be baptized.

And the rest of her life she loved Him and He was faithful.

And a year ago, He faithfully rescued my Grammie from a fall. She lay a minute dying, and then - suddenly - He restored her. Fully and completely no worse from her health fall. Just like her Ringtale.

I know what the scene was like here, but I love to imagine the invisible scene. As she gave up her spirit, did she leap into Jesus arms? Did he carry her? Was Ringtale there barking in circles wagging his tail?

Oh what a sight! My Savior divine rescuing my precious beloved Grammie.

I cant wait to see you again, but you are so infused in me, Im ok until then. And mostly Im ok because you shared with me your faith. I know I will one day be rescued as you were.

I love you, Grammie. Forever and always.
