Springtown, Texas - Celebration of Life Ceremony: 3:00 pm February 25th, 2023 at the Knob Hill Tabernacle Church in Springtown. Location 2081 Knob Hill Rd. Springtown Tx, 76020.
Springtown, TX. Kathy B. Hackney was born in Ft. Worth on June 13th 1956 to William and Hazel Garner.
Kathy Hackney graduated from Eastern Hills High School. James and Kathy shared a strong love for each other and would have been married 39 years on February 24th. She attended the Knob Hill Tabernacle Church. She was sweet spirited, sarcastically funny, and fun loving. Kathy loved to be outside attending flea markets, garage sales, and whatever she could do to be outdoors, weather permitting. Kathy was very family oriented. Her family and grandchildren always came first. This would have been her 15th year as a long- time employee at Wal-Mart in Azle.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents William and Hazel Garner, and grandchildren Taylor Brooks, and Joseph Brooks.
Survivors: Husband-James M. Hackney, Son- Michael Hackney, and wife Nicole, Daughter-Randi Brooks, Son-Tony Brooks; Grandchildren- Amber Hackney, Caleb Booth, Ashley Harris, Dallas Hackney, Christopher Freeman; Sisters Patsy and Johnny Lemons, Judy and Tommy Warren, several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith, now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness."
