I offer my condolences To the Baker family on their loss of Leah Jane. I ran across this obituary looking for her Mother and Father on the internet. This was a real shocker as just the other day I found pictures from 1968 or so of us as kids. I am Ed and Doris godson, that I have not seen since I was 11 years old. That was about 37 years ago. Again my condolences.

An angel on earth Leah, may the heavens offer you the same warmth and light that your heart carried here.

My deepest sympathy to the Baker family, who were so loved and so kind to many here in Burlingame, California.

Know that even as time passes and your family loss endures, there are many of us out here loving you and wishing you shelter from the collective pain and ache of missing her.

Leah leaves a million memories of laughter, integrity and vivacious life . . . and I will carry these with me forever, with love.

I just found out about this terrible tragedy. I was a classmate of Leah's at Burlingame High School. I will never forget Leah coming to BHS. She was so beautiful, so nice and so charming with her great Texas accent! We all adored her. I am very sorry for this terrible loss and I am so glad I knew Leah. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Leah was a ray of Texas sunshine when she, Becca, and Sally all made their dynamic entrance at Burlingame High School! Suddenly all of us high school girls wanted to speak with a Texas accent to sound as cute as Leah. Leah was as kind as she was beautiful, and she was very much loved by me and many of her classmates. Her classmates will all miss her, especially at our upcoming 30 year high school reunion. My thoughts and prayers are with Leah's family.

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Leah's death. What a shock it was when I heard the news. I wish I could have seen her when I was in town a year ago. I'll fondly remember the quick visit I had with her out in California 19 years ago. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
