Granbury, Texas - Loraine (Lori) Campbell Dietz departed this life to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Springdale Baptist Church 3016 Selma St., Fort Worth, Texas. Burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jason Wood, Keston Wood, Mason Wood, Ajay Wood, Heath Lambeth and Joe Steadham.

Our beloved mother, Granny and great-Granny was born on March 4, 1926 to Pete and Dallas Shortnacy in Telephone, Texas.
Her first address was in Fort Worth and she always called it her home. She was a Cowtown girl at heart. On June 19, 1942, she married Earl Douglas Campbell, they celebrated 51 years together. After their daughter Earline was born in August 1943, she returned to Paschal High School and received her diploma. Lori began a memorable career at Haltom's Fine Jewelers at the original store, then several years later she started her upward ascent to top executive secretary at General Dynamics.
Lori loved her family and many lifelong friends, liked to gamble a bit, was a tournament bowler and enjoyed playing bridge and RV'ing around the USA.
She remarried after the death of Earl Campbell to William (Bill) Dietz on December 23, 1995 and they were married for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Dallas Shortnacy; husband Earl Campbell; daughter, Barbara Kay Campbell; baby son, Campbell; grandson, Jud Wood; and husband, Bill Dietz.
Lori is survived by her daughter, Earline Wood; and husband, Jerry (Son as she often referred to him); grandson, Dr. Scott Wood and wife, Sheri; grandson, Chad Wood; great-granddaughter, Micha Lambeth and husband, Heath; great-grandson, Jason Wood and wife, Ashley, Keston Wood and fiancé, Kayla, Mason Wood and fiancé, Brianna and Ajay Wood; great-granddaughter, Jade Wood; and eight great-great grandchildren. Lori is also survived by her dear family-in-law of Bill Dietz; Debbie and Wayne Pipes; their family; and granddaughter, Jennifer Dietz; and her son, Tommy.
