Luther was born July 26, 1914, to Sarah and Robert Murry in Brock on the banks of the Brazos River. He married Frances Pauline Tooley on Jan. 29, 1940, in Marietta, Love Co., Okla. He spent years tracing his family tree.
A special thanks to his nephew, Joe and wife, Sarah Durham for their interest and help that they gave him.
He loved to dance and attend senior citizen gatherings for as long as he could. He was a proud man and, with the help of his loving wife, raised and taught his five children well. His life and memory blessed all who knew him.
A special thank you to Dr. Kuban of Granbury and Dr. Michael Ross of Hugley Cancer Center for the extended years we were able to have him with us on earth. To Teresa Clark for the special care and spoiling she gave him at home. To the staff at Southwest Nursing Center for his short stay with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings and one grandson.
