Lydia Rios Obituary

Lydia P. Rios, 70, loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rita Catholic Church with interment to follow in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with rosary at 7 p.m., at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Lydia was married for 43 years to Guadalupe Rios. Survivors: Husband, Guadalupe Rios; daughter, Rosalva O. Rios; son, Guadalupe Rios Jr.; grandchildren, Antonio Baez Jr., Roxanne M. Baez, Sophee N. Baez, Ruby A. Rios, Ashleigh D. Rios, Emily Y. Rios; great-grandchildren, Elijah A. Baez, Malakaie J. Baez; sisters, Mary Saenz and husband, Elisandro, of Edinburg, Emma Montes of Indio, Calif., Enedina Berrones of Coalinga, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.
