Funny how words, objects, even a day can trigger a faded memory. A song, a touch, a scent can put the mind where the body used to be.
Feels like time stands still & for a moment you can't breathe. Thoughts of remembrance take over, wanting to touch what only the mind can see.
Exhale as you snap back into reality. Heartaches as your left with only a faded memory...
"I'll never forget you" Love always, your pal

Some times it takes a dark tunnel to lead u to the light. May stumble & fall @ times due to lack of sight.
As you reach the end, you see & feel the warmth from a bright glare. Then u faintly see silhouettes of your loved one's waiving, guiding you there...
"Well Ms. Mabel, you finally made it home! What a journey that was, one long & bumpy road. Know you were so excited to see mother, Myrtle, Lillian & J.Y. Even tho it hurt my heart that we had to say our good bye. Truly admired you lady, all the way to the last hour. You'll always be my "pal", my Mabel, my "sweet & sour". You told me God sent me to you but actually think he sent you to me. You hold a special place in my heart lady & may you forever rest in peace."

We are so sad to learn of your loss, Jane, Don, Lauren, and Channing, and all of the Dingee family. Your sweet mom/grandmother was a beautiful, elegant woman, and I'm grateful to have known her. Even though we'd not seen Mabel in many, many years, I will always remember her as a classy, and dear woman. Love to you all, Jineen and Mike

Mabel was one of my dearest relatives who I loved very much. My husband and I always enjoyed our visits with her and having her share all the wonderful memories she had growing up in Pecos. Her stories were fascinating. I will miss her, but I am happy she is now in a better place.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family, friends and all who knew my Aunt Mabel. She always had an encouraging word, knew just what to say to make things better, had humor and a beaming beautiful smile to match. The stories she told of old and new will always be cherished. She was always so good to us. My sister, Becky was right, she was an angel on this earth. We will always love and never forget her.

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. I am sure it is my loss that I did not know Mabel, but as Tarrant County Archivist I had opportunity to talk about the Dingee and Holloway families just last night, so someone had alerted me to this notice of a loss to our community. I shall certainly archive it. God Bless. Dawn Youngblood, PhD [email protected]

Mabel Dingee radiated beauty, charm, warmth and care every minute of every day. As one of Jane's oldest friends, I can say that Mabel doted on all of us and set a wonderful example of kindness and humor. I'll miss her, we'll all miss her. I send my deepest sympathy to Jane, Don, Channing, Lauren and all the wonderful Dingees. ~ Kay
