Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God Church on Highway 156. Burial: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Clara Mae Smith; and his children's mother, Verda.
Survivors: Wife of 41 years, Ida Passmore; daughter, Shirley Thomason and husband, Charles; sons, Eddie Passmore and wife, Karen, Charles Passmore and wife, Vivian, and Jackie Passmore and wife, Lisa: 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Vida Lee Ratliff and Jewel Haynes; brother, Lonnie Passmore; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
