February 10, 1930 - July 1, 2021
Garland, Texas - Matta Lou McPherson Sheegog was born on February 10, 1930 and was raised in the Riverside area in Ft Worth Texas. She died peacefully in her sleep on July 1, 2021. She married Bob Edmund Sheegog on June 10, 1950. Mrs. Sheegog was a dedicated homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will always be remembered by her quiet spirit and sweet smile. She was preceded in death by her parents Sterling and Mary McPherson and her spouse Bob Sheegog.
She is survived by her daughter Margie Sheegog Stone and son-in-law, Greg Stone; two grandsons, Danny and Andrew and one granddaughter Erin, and their spouses; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

We would go spend the week if Fr. Worth with Uncle Bob, Aunt Matta Lou and Margie. Aunt Matta always made each one of us feel special. We loved spending time with her!

I am so sorry for your loss. Matta Lou was such a sweet lady we lived next door to them. Many, many fish fry´s. ALWAYS had such a beautiful smile. She is together again with the love of her life. Praying for Peace and Comfort.
