Dear Vonn,
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your wonderful husband. I know it is heart breaking as I lost my husband, O. D. Dobbs, on July 26, 2006 just a few months short of a 50 year marriage. We know Mike and O. D. are together and that they are in a better place than we. Take care of yourself and I will be praying for you.
Love,

Martha Dobbs (Sara Lewis' sister)

Dear Vonn
Don, Nicole and I are so sorry to hear of the loss of Mike. You and all of Mike's family are in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time. May God Bless and keep you and everyone in his care. We still remember how you and Mike came to pick us up at the Salt Lake City airport in 2000 as we transferred from the UK to UT. Even though it was cold, snowy and very late (after 2am), you and Mike were cheery and took great care of getting us settled. If you need anything, please let us know. Love and prayers; Don, Lena and Nicole Unverrich

Vonn, from the time we heard of your loss our thoughts have been drifting back to all the great adventures we shared together. Ken will never forget Mike's laughter when we were playing cards at the B & B in North Bay. And then there is the Algonquin park adventure...Ken falling out of the canoe. Hoping all these memories give you comfort in the days and weeks ahead. Our home is your home.
Sincerely, Joanne, Ken, Corby & Abby

Vonn, I can't begin to tell you how surprised and unbelievable Ann's message to me was about Mike. I was so excited that you and he were going to FTW for a few days even tho my health problem was not allowing me to make the trip to visit with you. I had been looking forward to seeing you and finally meet Mike. I am happy that I had been able to talk to him on the phone a while back before you got home from work. I feel like I know him even at this tme. Vonn, we love you so much (like family) and our prayers and thoughts are with you now and will continue. Your many friends will help you through this time of sorrow, and you are so blessed with so many people who love you. We would love for you to come visit us here in Boerne if you have some extra time before going back to Canada. I'll talk to you soon.

All our love!

Dear Vonn - I was so saddened to learn of Mike's death. He was far too young to leave us! You know the Source of our strength, so call on our all sufficient God to see you through this time of heartache and grief. He will be faithful to sustain you. We all love you dearly and will help in any way possible.

Warm wishes from one of your old gang,
