Helen Spivey Wimberly of Endwell, New York, peacefully transitioned on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in Pennsylvania. Born in Byromville, Georgia, Helen's journey began with strong roots and a deep love for learning. She attended Vienna High School and went on to pursue higher education with remarkable dedication, earning an Associate Degree from SUNY Broome Community College, a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University, and later a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix.
Helen built a successful career marked by integrity and diligence, retiring from Newman Development Group, LLC, where she served faithfully as a Lease Accountant. After retirement, she remained active in her community through her work at Family Enrichment. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Helen was a woman of quiet strength and grace who found joy in reading and cherished the time spent surrounded by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Money B. Spivey, Sr. and Lethia Mae Spivey; her treasured daughter, Deonza Hillie; her dear brother, Money B. Spivey, Jr. and beloved sister Beulah Spivey-Jones. Though she is deeply missed, her love continues to live on in those she leaves behind. Helen's memory will be forever cherished by her loving children Nakia Wimberly (Angela) and Demika Wimberly. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren Juwan Lamoree (Holly), Kyesha Talerico, Malajia Calderon, Amin Wimberly, Monesha Talerico, Safiya Wimberly, and great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.
She also leaves behind ten siblings to cherish and carry on her legacy: Thelma Woolfork; Vernita Spivey; Linda Johnson; Vivian Jamison; Marvin Spivey (Christine); Sedessia Swinton (Stanley); Sharon Eldrige (Reginald); Beverly Spivey; Tony Spivey (Deborah); and Frank Spivey (Billy-Jo); along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Helen will be remembered for her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love for her family. Her spirit leaves an indelible mark on all who were blessed to know her.
