William Rattikin Obituary

William Jackson (Jack) Rattikin, III

January 31, 1958 - February 9, 2026

Fort Worth, Texas - William Jackson (Jack) Rattikin, III passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026 surrounded by his beloved family. He was born on January 31, 1958 in Fort Worth to Glenda and Jack Rattikin, Jr.

Jack was a Paschal High School graduate and was a member of the golf team. Then he graduated from the University of Texas at Austin School of Business where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity, and always a fervent Longhorn football fan - Hook 'Em! He continued his education at Texas Tech University School of Law then joined the family business of Rattikin Title Company. He became president of the company in 1999, adding the role of CEO in 2004. His career in Title Insurance included serving as president of Texas Land Title Association and American Land Title Association. Jack won "Title Person of the Year" in 2005. He also served on the board of Lena Pope Home, Cook Children's Health Foundation, and Alliant National Title Board of Governors.

Jack was a faithful member of Christ Chapel Bible Church, where he loved the ministry and music, especially the Christmas Cantata. Another special place in his heart was the Rattikin beach house in Destin, Florida. Years of sharing it with family and friends filled his life with joy and created memories that we will cherish forever.

Jack is survived by his wife, Laura Miller Rattikin; and their two children, Cameron Jackson Rattikin and wife Candice, Courtney Rattikin Johnsen and husband Ian; and the light of his life, his granddaughter, Olivia. He is also survived by his siblings Alicia Lindsey and husband Steve, Jeff Rattikin, Allyson Grona and husband Brian, and brother-in-law, Scott Miller; along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 18th, at Thompson Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth.

Jack's Celebration of Life: 1 p.m. Thursday, February 19th, at Christ Chapel Bible Church Chapel, 3701 Birchman Avenue, Fort Worth.

I am just stunned to read of Jack's passing. I worked with Jack many years during my tenure at Rattikin Title Company and thought highly of his whole family as the Rattikins were such a close and loving family. My prayers are with them at this time of their loss.
