Michael Hartman Obituary

Michael T. Hartman, 50, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Mike was born July 28, 1960, in Fort Worth to Frank J. and Elinor "Pat" Hartman. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1978. As a defensive tackle he accomplished all-district and all-state honors. After earning a TCU football scholarship he went on to become the starting center. Upon graduating from TCU, Mike began his career at his father's CPA firm; he then continued his career at Hartman, Leito & Bolt LLP. As a TCU alumnus he was an avid Horned Frogs supporter. Mike had a love for sports statistics and trivia. Mike was a loving father and was so proud of Blaine, Natali and Holli. He loved to share memories with family and was a friend to everyone. His smile would make you smile. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank J. Hartman and Elinor "Pat" Hartman; and his brother-in-law, Steve Robards. Survivors: Children, Holli Hartman, Natali Hartman and Blaine Hartman, all of Granbury; siblings, Barbara Quesenberry and husband, Ray, of Arlington, Marianne Robards of Keller, Frank Hartman and wife, Joyce, of Aledo, Patricia Smith and husband, Frank, of Fort Worth; Aunt Virginia and Uncle Jim Kellum of Holly Ridge, N.C., and Uncle Toby McDonough of Capitan, N.M.; and many nieces and nephews.
