I worked with Oscar at Professional Appraisal Company and worked beside him in Willacy,Navarro and El Paso Counties in Texas along with The State of Wyoming. I also had the pleasure of working with Oscar in El Paso after the PAC days. Oscar was a hard working no nonsense guy who would do any thing for you. He will be missed.

Besides knowing Oscar from my High School years and school buddy, I also knew him when he was with the Dallas Appraisal District and I lived in Dallas, it was great seeing someone from my hometown, going out to eat, and chatting about old times. May the Lord be with you and your family find comfort and peace in the legacy you left behind.. what a loss to us, but the lord has gained an angel.. May you rest in peace my friend, til we meet again.

I worked with Oscar at Professional Appraisal Company (PAC) from 1979 thru 1985. We lived and worked in many counties across Texas, from El Paso to Willacy county in the Valley. Like many of us in that profession, we not only worked together, we roomed together, dined together, and had a few drinks together, too. I can echo some of the other comments in this Guest Book. Oscar was a man of absolute integrity and one of the hardest working guys I have known. I consider him a friend. I would have attended the funeral if I had known earlier, but only learned of his passing yesterday. To all of the Aguirre family, know that he is remembered and missed by others as well, and that you are in my prayers.

My dearest thoughts and prayers of guidance from God to all the family and friends in this time of sorrow. He was a very devoted man to his family, friends and job. I will truly miss him and did not get the opportunity to visit before he was chosen to his new journey. I will cherish the years I worked with him before I retired from DCAD in 2006.

May 8, 2010

I have known Oscar for all of the years he was at DCAD. Always a smile on his face and a friendly greeting. We sure will miss him. Oscar was one of the nice guys. When my husband joined DCAD three years ago as an Appraiser, Oscar was one of the first to "show him the ropes". As an army brat and a veteran we both appreciate and deeply respect his service to our country. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
