Pete Michael Howell

1962 - 2017

Pete Michael Howell, 54, born May 2, 1962, passed away suddenly on Monday, Feb. 26, 2017. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday at Epworth United Methodist Church, 1400 S. Cooper St., Arlington, Texas. A graveside burial service will follow at 4 p.m. in Prairie Point Cemetery in Kerens, Texas. Pete was loyal to a fault and loved his family. He would do anything for Brenda and his daughter, Sabrina. Any time his folks had needed his help, he was there. He and his dad together built the lake house he so loved. It was always a work in progress but a pure labor of love. He also was the go-to guy for everyone. If Pete couldn't fix it, it couldn't be fixed. The last big project he worked on was the newly purchased house that was going to be his and Brenda's forever home. They were so excited to watch the progress as Pete renovated, built and changed it all to make it their own special place. Pete was predeceased by his parents, Larry and Peggy Howell, and also by his sister, Patti. Survivors: Pete is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Howell; his loving daughter, Sabrina Howell and with nephews, Evan and Gareth Pritchard. A second family of in-laws in Canada will miss Pete dearly: Brenda's parents, Bruno and Hertha Buchstein; sisters, Dolores (Ron) and Linda (Jon); along with nieces, Megan (Bennett), Stephanie, Samantha, and nephew, Kent.
