Pretty sure today is Phil's birthday. Phil was a great man. He and I were good friends. Phil helped me through a very difficult time in my life and I will forever be indebted for that. I think about Phil every day. Probably always will.

Kym, I'm so sorry. I had no idea. I was reminiscing the old days and I though about you and Phil and the code blue days, and Phil's truck getting stolen and the mural he painted on my sons bedroom wall. I started looking for y'all on facebook and found you and the post I saw didn't sound good. So I googled obituaries and found Phil's. I'm totally shocked. Phil was and will always be a great guy in my book. You hang in there and be strong. I believe Phil would expect that. I should have reached out sooner but this crazy life never slows down. I am truly sorry for that. You will be in mine and Mona's prayers.

Uncle Phil, I'm still in shock that your gone. I remember whenever I was little and you would record me lip singing to Cindy Lauper and we did my talk show. You raised me since I was little you were like my father you did whatever it took to make sure I was good I love you forever now it's like My Two Dads have reunited in heaven.
