Phyllis and I were in college together at LSU and kept in touch for a while afterward. I visited her when she lived in NJ after grad school. We had a really memorable night in Philadelphia with a high school classmate of mine who lived there. Went to a Cajun restaurant. lol when that was all the rage - needless to say, we became the life of the restaurant party. We lost contact after that. I think that was in the 90s. I got married and had kids. But thought of her often. Her sense of humor and self confidence was always good to be around. I sent her a message through Facebook in 2010 which she initially replied to but then stopped responding. I think, perhaps she was sick then? I don´t know, but I do know that I was heartbroken when I found out that cancer took her. I had done some sleuthing and found out about her show in Texas and that she had married. I was planning to surprise her there one day but then I learned of her death. She is one of those people you can´t really believe are gone because they were so full of life! I do so wish you were still with us. Much love always
